QUALITY MANAGEMENT

WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU

We increase value for your clients.

Most consultants don’t understand how data impacts people’s lives. At Hess III Consulting, we never lose sight of your patients while managing the process. We use what we call “simplexity” to give you the information you need – when you need it – in order to make the most informed and accurate decisions for the communities you serve.

We know that most failures are systemic and can’t be resolved, long-term, by simply addressing each little issue – or fire – at a time. We know you need smoke detectors to predict fires, inspectors to advise you of hazards, sprinklers to cover all vulnerable areas and, of course, a fireproof safe for your most valuable assets. We provide all those things and more. We focus on the totality of your business and the needs of the people who trust you with their care.

Our Quality Management Experts provide realistic, practical, and sustainable solutions and embed all improvements into your people and processes, so they become second nature. Our comprehensive approach engages your people in performance and assigns multidisciplinary teams to address every department in your organization. We also provide coaching and training to build capacity and offer you the advanced analytic tools you need to monitor your success long after we’re gone.

Our Experts are best-in-class and they’ve achieved success with the largest healthcare providers and payers in the U.S. Because of the breadth and depth of that experience, we’re extremely versatile and know exactly which tools will drive performance for your business. Our team will drive the success of your outcomes and produce results for your patients while simultaneously meeting regulators’ expectations. When you’re ready to expand your business, we will help you use that foundation of success and performance to catapult your growth and allow you to serve the needs of more people in your community.

Our Process

We work with you and your team to define your annual Quality Management strategy, based on your scope of services and the populations you serve. We then help you identify and employ the people, process and product needed to achieve success.

First, we seek to understand where you are today and where you can realistically be in the future. We define your baseline, set measurable goals, identify specific opportunities to improve performance and put a data-driven, evidence-based plan in place.

Next, we help you assemble a team that places the right people in the right seats and rigorously review the best-practice approaches that will help them achieve success. Those approaches, or tools, include systems and procedures that allow you to monitor performance throughout the year, using multi-disciplinary committees, routine & ad hoc reporting, audits and inspections. We’ll even keep you on track for your local, state and national performance indicators (HEDIS, EPSDT and others), outcome measures, value passed payment arrangements and customer satisfaction scores, (like HCAHPS).

Finally, we give you access to a library that contains the full suite of Quality Management tools that include data-driven systems, processes, frameworks, strategies and other best-in-class tools, drawn from the National Association of Healthcare Quality and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
