Amerigroup, an Anthem subsidiary and one of the largest Medicaid managed care organizations in the United States, engaged Hess III Consulting to lead Medicare/Medicaid managed care bid development across ten state markets. Every engagement was awarded.

• AmeriHealth Caritas - one of the largest Medicaid managed care organizations in the United States, engaged Hess III Consulting to lead Medicare/Medicaid managed care bid development across three state markets.
• Magellan Health - the largest Medicaid behavioral health managed care entity in the United States at the time of engagement, retained Hess III Consulting for multi-state Medicaid managed care strategy and compliance across 15 markets.

Federal Government Engagements

Hess III Consulting has worked with and alongside the federal government on some of the most consequential health and human services initiatives in the United States — from ACA enrollment to SAMHSA behavioral health policy to White House-level health reform strategy.

The White House / Center for American Progress — Out2Enroll Campaign

Hess III Consulting was selected as a partner for the Out2Enroll national steering committee — the White House-backed initiative to enroll LGBTQ+ and other special populations in health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Robert Hess III received a personal invitation to the White House in 2014 in recognition of this work.
